Spiked 'Lita' boots- Jeffrey Campbell
'Molly' long-sleeved playsuit- Motel
Gold letter belt- eBay
Coin earrings- ASOS
Lipstick- MAC Candy Yum Yum
Another outfit post in response to the absolutely baking weather, and this one features a piece I have wanted for a few months at least. I've never bought from Motel before, but I knew I needed the Molly playsuit as soon as I saw it. The fabric is summery-light, the print speaks to my (massive) soft spot for all things rococo and the cut is fairly unique for a playsuit. As someone who generally likes to be covered up, I love the long sleeve on this playsuit.
I added gold accessories, including these gorgeous baroque coin earrings from ASOS to tie in with the print and a gold-letter belt to modernize it, and chunky shoes. My spiked Lita boots are great for summer because the nude suede against my white-as-a-sheet legs eradicates stumpy-ness but still make an impact. I am very little as a human being if not for my chunky shoes, or so this blog with imply.

I'm so glad I bit the bullet and bought this playsuit. The initial price was £45, but with my Motel 20% discount (type in countessdublush at checkout) and some credit I had in my Motel account, I got it for £31, much closer to my price bracket.

What have you been wearing in this ridiculous heat? And pale girls, how are you maintaining your pasty complexion? I fear I got a slight tan in work the other day. *shudder*
