W7 Photo Shoot 16-Hour Budge Proof Foundation Review

I am always looking for the next best thing for my skin to get it looking the best that it can. One of my favourite blogger girls is Terri from Hello Terri Lowe and she had brilliant things to say about this dirt-cheap foundation from W7. The amount of money I've spent on crap foundations would make me feel a bit ill, so I figured £3.99 more really wouldn't kill me. Unless there was something scary in this one that could actually do that.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't have those ingredients but it is quite a spectacular find.

W7 Photo Shoot 16-Hour Budge Proof Foundation is a medium-to-full coverage foundation with a thick consistency that needs a little more work to blend than thinner formulas like the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Foundation but gives immaculate coverage without the heaviness of typical fuller coverage formulas like Revlon ColourStay. I particularly love how build-able this foundation is, so I can smooth a little extra over my blemish-prone areas.

I bought this foundation in the colour Buff, which is a nice colour match for me, but not perfect. It leans yellow on me but the tone itself is almost pale enough for me, impressive for a budget beauty line (Collection, take note) but not a total match.

But what could possibly be the best thing about a three quid foundation? The wear time is incredible.

I went out on Saturday night and was fairly worse for wear, to put it politely. But the one thing I noticed the morning after the night before? My foundation looked absolutely perfect, as it did when I left the house at seven in the evening, at eleven o'clock the next morning. Granted, this was with a powdered t-zone, but I have never experienced wear like this before! On an average day at work or college, it powers through without fading or breaking down on my face, and as someone with an extremely oily t-zone, this is unprecedented!

This is the best foundation I have used in a very long time. I really hope it continues to deliver for me and whole-heartedly recommend it!

  1. Ohh I do love a budget foundation. The colour looks like it would suit my tone quite well too. I'll need to have a nosey for it.

  4. i got this foundation yesterday. my problem is blemishes and a few spots, oily tee zone and i must say this foundation is perfect! after using l'oreal, 17, and countless other foundations this is by far the best! Lasts long! i have school as well. i put it on at 7am and it lasts until 5pm doesnt go all oily on skin, doesn't stick to dry patches, you can put loads on and it still wont look cakey. this is my foundation :) btw i have combination sensitive skin and it has not made my skin worse or brake out. a Must Buy!
