Melt Candle Review

I bloody love a good candle.

I truly believe in settings improving your mood, and making my bed, putting on my 'chill-out' playlist and lighting some candles really makes my evening roughly fourteen times better.

With it being the day of L-U-V and all that, you'll probably need a few of these if you're settling down for a night-in on Lover's Lane.

So clearly I was delighted to add a candle to my collection courtesy of Melt Candles*!

Melt Candles offer a range of scented candles in the sexiest little glasses. I really the packaging. I love the Yankee Candle jars but these are so sleek and pretty.

I have the scent Neroli and Rose Geranium, which is mostly warm neroli with a hint of rose. I was pleased with this: the scent is very comforting and lightly floral and sweet. I don't think the scent is over-powering but it is noticeable. 

The best thing about this candle is the burn time. Not only does it burn beautifully evenly for a candle dweeb like me (I am incapable of burning a candle properly) but it lasts so well. I don't have a lot left of it after about a month, but I burn it every day and have well exceeded the 80 hour burn time. I was very impressed with this factor and it is worth the investment. As much as I love my Yankee candles, there is generally A LOT of wastage and this candle doesn't seem to do that. 

And look at that cute little design! It's so pretty!

I really, really like Melt Candles. I mean, a candle only really needs to light to 'work' properly but this is worth investing in and strikes a really nice balance between delivering enough scent and simultaneously not being heady. 

Melt Candles are an essential for every Valentine's Day night-in!
